Marie-Claire joined City University this August (2023) but has been teaching and training since 2000 at various organisations including British Council, International House, HKUSPACE and Hong Kong PolyU. She spent much of her time in Hong Kong and Singapore teaching EFL, ESL, EAP and exams preparation classes, as well as teacher training on CELTA courses in Europe, Middle East and Asia. Marie-Claire also worked as a content developer for many years, managing and developing EFL and ESL courses for senior secondary and adult students at different levels.

Professionally, her interests lie in feedback, reflection and learning strategies (as well as the content development and teacher development described above); personally, her interests include food, wine, exercise to balance out the food and wine, and travel.
