A copy of your insurance policy, if available
Your identity card (身份證) and household registration, if available (如有戶(hù)籍謄本請(qǐng)一併擕帶)
Proof of permanent address in your home country (in Chinese or English) for opening a bank account
Cash, traveller's cheques and/or credit cards
Any medications prescribed by your doctor, together with a letter from the doctor testifying that the drugs are licensed and prescribed for your personal use due to a health condition

A few recent passport-size photographs
Clothes suitable for the weather conditions in Hong Kong
Any telephone numbers that might be useful if you need to seek help
