Tom is a barrister-at-law in Hong Kong.

Tom has over 15 years management experience in media. Before joining the Bar in 2019, Tom was the Executive Director and Principal Officer of three business units of i-CABLE Communications Limited including:

1. Fantastic Television Limited, one of the three domestic free television licensees in Hong Kong licensed under the Broadcasting Ordinance (Cap. 562), which now operating two free television channels known as “Hong Kong Open TV” and “HKIBC”;


2. International Distribution Limited, which responsible for the overseas distribution and licensing of i-CABLE’s news channels, TV programme and films; and


3. Sundream Motion Pictures Limited, which responsible for the production, acquisition and local theatrical distribution of films.

Before that, Tom was an executive director and Chief Finance Officer of a satellite television company in Hong Kong responsible for, inter alia, the compliance and regulatory matters.
