Congratulations to Prof. Peter Lidsky, who has recently been awarded a 2024–2025 Teaching Development Grant (TDG) from City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK). This grant will support his innovative project involving GeneBox, an interactive learning app designed with video game functionality to enhance the teaching and learning of biology.

The GeneBox app focuses on key concepts in biology, specifically genetics, cellular, and molecular biology, with an emphasis on gene regulatory networks. The project aims to transform GeneBox into an engaging game and an effective educational tool that caters to Generation Z students, fostering a deeper understanding of biological principles.
