Ms Guopan Liu, PhD student of Dr Liang Zhang, won the solo Best Poster Award of the 2022 Rohto Forum Poster Session held on 22 July 2022.

The Second Rohto Forum for Regenerative Medicine, jointly hosted by Rohto Advanced Research Hong Kong Ltd (Rohto ARHK) and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), was held in virtual mode during 21–22 July 2022. The Forum was convened to address the challenges facing regenerative medicine to improve health through the development of advanced therapies with leaders and experts from Japan, Hong Kong, and Mainland China. The winner of the Best Poster Award went to Guopan for her poster presentation titled “Mitochondrial ejection and TNF-α-Wnt signalling underlie the osmolarity-induced dedifferentiation of adipocytes” based on the research of her PhD study. Rohto ARHK members visited Guopan at City University of Hong Kong on 18 August 2022 to present her with the award and prize.
