Dr. LIU Lu has been awarded the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) – Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Hong Kong and Macao) 2022. The Excellent Young Scientists Fund is one of the most prestigious honors for young scientists in China. It supports young scientists with outstanding achievements to pursue innovative research in the areas of their own choice. It aims to foster a number of young talents on the frontiers of international science.

The Fund is highly competitive, with only 25 projects in total funded across Hong Kong and Macao. Dr LIU will receive RMB2.0 million to conduct pioneering research on “多智能體分布式控制” over a period of three years.
