Biography
Dr. Metje Zegers graduated from the University of Ghent (Belgium) in 2008.
She completed a rotating internship in a busy referral practice in the Netherlands and started working in general mixed practice after.
After a few years in mixed practice, she moved to the United Arab Emirates and worked there several years as a general practitioner in a small animal clinic.
After moving to Hong Kong with her family, she started working as general practitioner at CityU VMC, the largest multidisciplinary referral and teaching hospital in HK, where she is currently department Head Primary Care Services.
Concurrently, she is an alternative resident at the European College of Veterinary Dentistry.
Dr. Metje Zegers is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
