Scholarship for Prospective English Teachers 2016/2017
The Scholarship, organized by the Education Bureau, aims to attract students who are proficient in English to pursue English major study programmes in local higher education institutions and become English language teachers upon graduation.
The
Scholarship is tenable for normal duration of intended study programmes. Upon
graduation, awardees will have to fulfill a teaching obligation by teaching English full-time in
primary or secondary schools in Hong Kong for three
consecutive school
years.
Applications for the scholarship will be accepted from 8 to 18 August 2016.
Applicants are required to submit the completed application forms and copies of
supporting documents to the Language Teacher Qualifications Team of
Education Bureau
directly.
