MA Taiwan Study Tour 2025

From April 30 to May 6, 2025, the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) organized an MA Taiwan Study Tour. Approximately 60 MACNM and MAIMC students participated in this educational journey, visiting three major cities: Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung. Over the course of seven days, students had the opportunity to visit Hakka TV, part of the Public Television Service, as well as the National Education Radio. This provided them with invaluable experiences interacting with broadcasting professionals and gaining insights into the daily operations of Taiwan's media landscape.
Additionally, participants explored several prominent sightseeing destinations in Taiwan, such as Jiufen, National Palace Museum, and Liberty Square. These visits allowed students to immerse themselves in Taiwan's vibrant cultural heritage while broadening their global communication skills. The tour equipped them with essential insights to navigate contemporary cross-cultural challenges more effectively.
