The Major in Accountancy aims to provide an active learning environment in which students can develop knowledge of accounting and inter-related business disciplines and enrich the broader skills and values essential for members and leaders of the accountancy profession in Hong Kong and the Greater China region.? The Professional Accounting stream is designed to equip students with technical knowledge and professional skills for the profession. The ESG
and Tech stream is designed to equip students with digital technology, risk
management and governance issues, in addition to the fundamental accounting
knowledge.

Graduates can gain full or partial exemption from the professional
examinations depending on the accredited courses taken. |
To nurture BBA Accountancy students as professional and ethical leaders for business challenges, students are strongly encouraged to actively attend a “Strategic Leadership Development Series”, arranged for BBA Accountancy students to gain exposure to a variety of skills trainings, seminars, workshops, and professional development opportunities, and to interact with potential employers and other practitioners. |
