CityUHK Alumni Get-together & Fire-side Chat – Future Trends in Talent Development (23 April)
The 1st Alumni Get-Together & Fire-Side Chat on Future Trends in Talent Development was successfully held on 23 April by the Career and Leadership Centre and the Alumni Relations Office. The event brought together a vibrant community of over 50 alumni, staff, and current students.
The highlight of the event was the participation of 11 esteemed alumni from the Financial Services and Consulting fields. These alumni generously shared their invaluable industry experiences and insights on career development. The event‘s centerpiece was an interactive and insightful 45-minute fire-side chat session, featuring 4 esteemed alumni delving into the latest job market trends and sharing how they leveraged their experiences to forge successful careers. Enthusiastic participants also engaged in meaningful and enlightening conversations, while the alumni industry experts provided students with remarkable guidance and inspiration.
The CityUHK Alumni Get-Together & Fire-Side Chat event series stands as a groundbreaking initiative, aimed at fostering a growth mindset for career success among students while strengthening alumni and student community. Through regular networking and fire-side chat events within this series, students gain incredible opportunities to connect with our alumni from diverse industries, which enabled them to understand more about the latest industry trends and gain insights from the career advice shared by the alumni for their personal growth and career development.
